Assembly was very easy and only took my hubby a couple of minutes.
We placed the Litter Spinner between our 2 other litter boxes and waited.
I have to admit that the cats did not warm up to it at first. After talking to the folks at Litter Spinner, they suggested we put some clean litter from the cat's existing boxes into the drum. That worked like a charm and Chloe & Moe were using the Litter Spinner in no time.
The real test was does it actually work. The premise is that you fill it with clumping litter and when you are ready to clean it you spin the drum and the clumps collect in the side chamber.
*The pics below have a little kitty poo in them, but I don't think they will be offensive to anyone who has ever cleaned a litter box or picked up dog poo*
Here's the inside of the Litter Spinner drum before we started.
After spinning the Litter Spinner for a full rotation it looked like this.
Nice & clean inside. The real test was pulling out the drawer to see if it collected the clumps.
The drawer came out easily with all of the litter clumps inside. It was very easy to dispose of.
The cats now use the Litter Spinner regularly and it's been a breeze to clean & maintain.
The Litter Spinner was recently featured on the show I Want That, here's the video.
Chloe, Moe, Chris (the hubby who cleans out the boxes) and I highly recommend the Litter Spinner for any cat owners. Check it out & tell them Pet Blogs United sent you!
*We were sent a Litter Spinner for review and received no other compensation. The vies expressed are solely my own.
