This week we are proud to introduce to you About A Kitten.
My name is Yayan and I’m relatively new to both blogging and kitten-owning. I got my kitten Bailey less than a year ago, and since then I have been endlessly entertained (and sometimes very frustrated!) with her antics. Both friends and family constantly asked me how Bailey was doing and always enjoyed seeing pictures of her, so I had the idea to start a blog this past March in order to more easily share what it was like having Bailey around.
My boyfriend and I adopted Bailey from Angels on Wheels Animal Rescue, a rescue organization in a suburb outside of Chicago. We saw her when they had a kitten showing at a local Petco. She was about 3 months old at the time. She was in a little bed with a few other kittens, and because she was so small, I basically had to dig through the other kittens to finally see her at the bottom of the pile! They told us that some people were hesitant to adopt her because of her size, but we didn’t see anything wrong with how small she was, in fact it was one of the main reasons we picked her.
I’ve recently started including some of our daily activities that we do in my blog, but I always manage to incorporate Bailey because she is such a big part of our lives. She’s a little over a year old now, but still looks and acts like a kitten. It’s always fun to see her delighted self greeting us at the door when we come home from work. She’s very social and loves to be around people. I hope you enjoy reading about what it’s like to have her and her mischievous ways around!
