Hi there. My name is Boondocks! I am a young pup who loves living each moment of life to its fullest potential. Even though I am still in my youth, I serve as head writer and editor-in-chief over at www.theloveshackpack.com . Let me tell you a little bit about us!

The Love Shack Pack is made up of our family of seven dogs, four two-legged kiddos, and two paw-rents. (We also have three cats for some reason. I try not to think about them much though.) It is our mission to spread unconditional love to all with whom we come in contact - except for the cats, of course.

Seven year old, Golden Retriever, Scarlet serves as our canine matriarch. Scarlet is a certified therapy dog through Therapy Dogs International. She has been visiting nursing homes, schools, libraries, and more since she was just a few months old. Kudzu and me are now in training to take over for her. We will hopefully become certified at the beginning of 2012 after we have both reached our first birthdays.

(In addition to therapy visits, we also teach classes or groups about: bite prevention, safety around dogs, responsible ownership, overcoming disabilities, accepting differences, and pet loss grief.)

Besides me, Scarlet, and Kudzu, we have four other dogs in our pack: Cosmo - he belongs to the blonde haired, human boy; Rose Bud - she and the diva human daughter claim one another; Joy - she belongs to the oldest boy child, and Ohno - Ohno only likes momster. Kudzu is claimed by the youngest human boy. Scarlet claims dadster. And me? I love everyone but am mostly a momma’s boy. Ohno and Joy are Morkies and the rest of the gang are Golden Retrievers.

My blog tells all the tales of our adventures together. Whether we’re just lounging around the house, out for a picnic, or visiting with people we care about, we share it all there. It is written from my point of view and tends to be more whimsical than serious. I mean, I am just a puppy after all!
