The Pet Convincer is a product that I 100% believe in. It sends a blast of air from a C02 cartridge and makes a sound that pets don't like.
Well Valdae, the Russian Dog Wizard, who you can read about in this recent interview, has come up with an easy innovative solution. You lean towards the dog, while simultaneously yelling AAAAAAAAAATTT and giving a blast with the Pet Convincer. It's just air & noise to startle them & get their attention. This is also great for correcting cats from climbing on the counter, scratching up furniture, etc. Vladae says that many people also use it for protection from dogs attack on the street and even against Coyotes.
After using it on Oskar several times, I can tell you today that all it takes is for me to keep him from barking is give him an AAAAAAAAAATT sound or show him the convincer, if he even barks at people. Today he hasn't barked at any dogs walking past!
Also making sure your pet is stimulated physically, mentally & socially are going to help behavior problems obviously :)
