This is Chloe.
She was found as a very tiny kitten alone in a K-Mart parking lot on a cold, snowy October night here in Michigan right before she came to me.
She can often be found like this, playing with the mousekin that is under her S toy. She doesn't use the part intended for scratching on her S, preferring instead to scratch the couch, the dresser & the desk.
We got her this tube, but this is as close as she's ever gotten to playing with it. Her butt actually does fit in there, but she isn't interested in the concept of hiding out in a tube, even when we sprinkle it with catnip, which is the reason she was this far for this photo.
She loves to lay on all of our wonderful blankets and afghans, but she smooshes down the couch in the process.
And loves to show off her, um, stuff, while playing. I guess she gets better traction that way. We've place the star to allow her some modicom of respect, even if she's not concerned about it, BOL!
Now Oskar gets tons of treats and samples sent to him, but since we don't get as many treats for cats, Chloe & her sister Moe are always meowing on about how life isn't fair. If you've taken a good look at Chloe's Reubenesque form in this post, you can see she is not deprived, no matter how many times she meows for ham & treats.
Oh yeah, our boy John taught her to beg like a dog. Not on her hind legs or anything, just to be annoying and in your face anytime a person is trying to eat something. So now we have a cat that's more interested in people food than our dog is. She especially likes salty bits of cracker or chips.
So now you know a bit more about Chloe, one of our cats. Moe, will get her turn soon.
