Today I'm happy to introduce you to the crew at Catself.
Hello dear PBU readers. We’re glad to be here in your company.
We are one human Bean and two Cats, happily rubbing up against each other in a small cabin near Fayetteville, Arkansas. Not too long ago, things were very different. Then Bean was under the delusion – can you imagine? – that she didn’t like cats. So it was a great day when little six-month-old Bugs sashayed up to Bean on a downtown street and introduced himself. Bean pretty much fell in love on the spot. So much for old dogs and new tricks.
Here’s Bugs straight on.
You can see he’s not shy. He’s also a little darling. When he wants to be. If you look closely, you can see the scratch-marks.
Fang came later. All it took was a passing mention on the blog that Bean was thinking about another cat and a reader told of a rescuer, 600 miles away, who had saved Fang from death not once but twice. This moved Bean so much that she met up with the rescuer halfway and – enter Fang.
After a little push-and-pull (a little! amazing how time smooths away the rough edges) –
– here are the boys as they finally became brothers.
And that kind of love is a now happening thing, amongst boys and Bean. Our blog-friends bring to the house laughter, warmth, and the gamut of pretty much all that life has to offer – up, down, and sideways though that may be. Do drop by and say your bit, you’ll be most welcome. Here are some favorite posts; hope you enjoy them.
