While I was browsing around Etsy I found some beautifully made dog collars that were monogrammed. I excitedly asked the owner of the shop if she would send me one for review and she agreed.
We picked a patriotic theme with red & white stripes on a navy blue nylon dog collar webbing. On top of the red & white stripes we had his name stitched in navy thread.
Here's some text directly from the Monogrammed Mutt shop:
"These Custom Collars are durable- made with 1 inch wide heavy nylon dog collar webbing- (not the thin nylon), welded D rings ( no chance of the ring opening up if the dog pulls) and quick release side buckles, making them safe even for larger breeds.
I use beautiful trendy fabrics and nice bright grosgrain ribbon in lots of colors so the collar stands out on your dog and holds up well with washing. Spray the collar with Spray n Wash and throw in the washer! Air dry. They come out looking brand new!
I embroider the ribbon (or fabric) with your dog's name and phone number (or just name if you prefer) and sew it onto the nylon webbing so you can't see the stitching from the back. Then I assemble the collar according to your measurements and you have a beautiful custom embroidered collar for your precious pup! They really come out beautifully and there's no need for jingling tags!"
The collar we received was exceptionally well made, beautiful and it was obvious that it would stand up to whatever we could throw at it.
